Plexiglass...

My first try at plexiglass. The reflection ended up being darker than I'd like so I may play with it some more. Most of the others turned out looking like the baby had a siamese twin. Strange. Obviously, I don't know what I'm doing. Any tips for how to get good shots with plexiglass? Please share if you have any plexiglass photos of your own!

no advice. I've never used it myself. I do like this shot though.

Hmmmm, what size did you get anyway? I have never used it, but really want to. Did you try upping the highlights in PS? I'm sure that's not a fix, but it may help brighted a tad, just be careful not to blow out the diaper. He/he...get it??

Never tried it either, but have always liked the look. I like the reflection you got, just subtle.

Did you use a flash? Next time try using a flash and a white foamboard to bounce it off the side so the light bounces onto the plexi glass, I did this with some bouncy balls (on my blog) but used white instead of the black like you used, I held the white foamboard to the right and a little
slanted, you can pretty much see where the flash is going to fall if you move it around some. Its a great shot but needs more light.

Hi April, got your message on my blog. I used my external flash when I did it, Im not sure it will come out if you use your on camera flash, if you dont have an external flash you can always use a flash light and point it to the side and see where the light falls, hth's.
