There's not much to write about this. It's incense. We don't really burn incense but Kev found this incense holder that he liked it so he got it. It's mostly decorative but I lit this baby up for the photos.
Now I have a question. I shot these at ISO 800. They turned out so grainy. I've seen photos posted online that were a higher ISO with less grain. So I'm wondering, are mine so grainy because of the high ISO or because I didn't nail the exposure. I ran noiseware on these. Any CC is appreciated!

well the noiseware worked because i'm not seeing much. i don't know what to tell you...i know some cameras are better at higher iso's than others...but i know nothing about nikon. hope someone else can help.
Some of it will depend on the camera too, so...some of those high end digitals have much less noise at high ISOs, but...the noiseware worked here for I don't see a ton of noise. I like your interpretation of the theme today and I like incense every once in a while.
I'm not much help on the noise but I don't see much so that's great! Love the shots.
Great shots. first is my fav- the flame against that wood is awesome
I like the second one, great shot!! My dad used to love to burn it.
