I know... I've been a bad, bad, blogger. Work has gotten busy, as it does at the end of every quarter, which equals 11 hour workdays and often Saturdays. I leave my house around 6am and don't get home until 7:30pm, so that doesn't leave much free time for taking photos or blogging. And that's a bummer. Hopefully it doesn't last too long.
Luckily, my husband does what he can to keep me sane during this crazy time. I was greeted on Friday evening with a bottle of wine... and if you've been reading my blog for any amount of time you know that wine is the remedy for nearly anything. I mean that in the most non 'alcoholic' way possible. Then Saturday, after I was done work, we took our cameras out to Lake Nockamixon for some practice. Fun times... it was a gorgeous day and the park is so beautiful. Oh, not sure if I mentioned yet but Kev bought a D200! Oh yes. And since he doesn't really know much about DSLRs, I get to use the D200 and he has adopted my D80. I looooove it so far. Here's some shots with my new lens, the Tamron 28-75, 2.8.

Glad to see you back, Im always looking for you on the POTD!! I enjoy your pics! I totally agree with you on the WINE :) You got some great shots there and your dh did excellent too!! Way to go!! My dh has actually been picking mine up more although hes not interested in the settings.
Way to go Kev!! You and my dh will have to team up online. He has taken an interest too. Except he says "I don't like people. Let me take nature." LOL Love those pictures both of you. Isn't it fun to do together? BTW - how do you like that lens? I've been thinking about getting it but can't decide.
